DAY 1 // AMMAN Arrive in Amman. Meet and greet at the airport before transfer to hotel for overnight stay. DAY 2 // AMMAN – ALLENBY BRIDGE - JERUSALEM Breakfast. Depart for the Jordan and Israel border. Upon completing the border procedures into Israel, drive into Jerusalem across the desert of Judea before arriving at the hotel for a free afternoon and overnight stay. DAY 3 // JERUSALEM Breakfast. Depart for Mount Scopus and Mount of Olives to experience the panoramic views of the city. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane to see the Basilica of the Agony. Visit the Wailing Wall before continuing on to visit Mount Zion and the Tomb of King David, the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey.Proceed to Ein Karem to visit the birthplace of John the Baptist and a visit to the famous Holocaust Museum. In the afternoon visit the Bethlehem Church of the Nativity before continuing on to St. Catherine’s Church to see St. Jerome´s cave. Return to Jerusalem for overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 4 // JERUSALEM Breakfast. Depart for the 14 Stations of the Cross to walk the Via Dolorosa, the route that Jesus took between his condemnation and his crucifixion, as well as visiting the Church of the Flagellation and the captivating Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue through the Jewish Quarter and the Roman Cardo before visiting the old town to experience the main attractions of Jerusalem including: The Knesset, the Municipal Theatre and the Shrine of the Book in the Israel museum, home to several exceptional archaeological finds. Return to the hotel for overnight stay. DAY 5 // JERUSALEM Breakfast and free day. Optional excursion to Masada and the Dead Sea. Overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 6 // JERUSALEM-GALILEE Breakfast. Visit the Judean Desert around Jericho including an opportunity to take in the great panoramic view of the city from the summit of the Mount of Temptation. Continue to the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth, to view the magnificent carpentry of St. Joseph and the Tomb of the Virgin as well as the Yardenit baptism site on the Jordan River, the traditional location of Jesus’ baptism. Proceed to Capernaum via Tiberias to visit the ancient synagogue and the house of St. Peter before carrying onto Tabgha, to visit the site of the “miracle of the loaves and fishes”. Finish the day with a trip to the Mount of Beatitudes and the Sermon on the Mount. Overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 7 // GALILEE - TEL AVIV Breakfast. Depart on an excursion to the various facilities of the Kibbutz including the City of Kabbalah and the Jewish Mysticism. Visit the Joseph Caro Synagogue, passing by St. John of Acre to enjoy the medieval fortifications before proceeding on to Haifa, to the Bahai Shrine and Persian Garden. Experience the all-embracing view from the summit of Mount Carmel before visiting the Carmelite Monastery. Depart to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theatre, the Cross City and the aqueduct. Arrive in Tel Aviv for overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 8 // TEL AVIV Breakfast. Depart to Joppa to visit the artists’ quarter and the Monastery of San Pedro. Continue on to the main attractions of the city including Dizengoff Street, the Palace of Culture, the Museum of Tel Aviv, Yitzhak Rabin Square and Carmel Market. Proceed to the famous Diaspora Museum, one of the largest museums in the world showcasing Jewish history. Free afternoon and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 9 // TEL AVIV - AMMAN Breakfast. Depart to the border of Jordan. Following border exit and entry procedures and reception in Amman, depart on transfer to the hotel for overnight stay. DAY 10 // AMMAN - JERASH - MADABA - NEBO - PETRA Breakfast. Depart for the Amman city tour including a visit to Jerash, one of the cities of the Decapolis, located 45 miles north of Amman. During the tour, visit the Arc de Triumph, Oval place, the colonnade of Jerash, the temple of Aphrodite before concluding with the Roman theatre and its wonderful acoustics. Continue to the Jerash ruins, gaining a good insight into how the cities were at the time, before moving on to Madaba to visit the St. George Orthodox Church containing the Madaba Mosaic Map. Advance to Mount Nebo to admire the impressive view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea Mountain, the last place visited by Moses where the prophet first saw the Promised Land. Transfer to Petra for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 11 // PETRA Depart to the Pink City, the capital of the Nabataeans to visit the spectacular monuments carved into the rock: the Tombs of Colours, the Royal Tombs and The Treasury, an internationally famous landmark once featured in the Indiana Jones films and reinforcing Petra as one of the worlds must see destinations.Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. DAY 12 // PETRA - WADI RUM - AQABA Excursion to Wadi Rum. Embark on a captivating trek to the desert of Lawrence of Arabia. Experience a unique 6 person 4WD excursion within the incredible desert moonscape, guided by local Bedouins. Continue to the city of Aqaba and the Red Sea. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay. DAY 13 // AQABA - DEAD SEA Breakfast and free morning with the option to visit the Red Sea port or an opportunity to relax and enjoy the beach and hotel facilities. Afternoon departure to the Dead Sea, via the desert road followed by dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 14 // DEAD SEA - AIRPORTBreakfast and transfer to the airport.
