Dead Sea and Southern Israel
  • At 417 meters below sea level, the Dead Sea is lowest spot on the face of the earth, and the biggest natural health spa.   • The rock top fortress of Masada overlooking the Dead Sea has been invested with a quasi-religious significance as a symbol of resistance for the people of Israel. It tells the story of 960 Jewish zealots, defenders against the Romans and choosing self-inflicted death rather than surrender has achieved legendary status for the Jewish people.
